In lieu of pictures today, we want to mention the upcoming eclipse on Monday, August 21. While it is not instinctual for your dog to look at the sun on a regular day, all the commotion of people looking and pointing to the eclipse may encourage your dog to ignore this instinct. Please remember that your dog’s eyes, just as ours, can be permanently damaged from staring at the sun during an eclipse so we encourage all dog owners to use caution if outside with your dog during the eclipse. As for the dogs that will be attending day care that day, they will be brought inside at 12:45PM and not return to the outside yard until 4:30PM.
